Privacy
This site holds sensitive personal data — date of birth, caste category and disability status — because eligibility cannot be answered without it. That is a reason to be careful with it, not a reason to keep more.
What is stored, and why
Nothing below is collected unless you sign in, or ask for an email alert, and enter it. Reading the site requires no account and stores nothing about you.

Email alerts without an account
A recruiter’s page and an exam’s page let you ask for an email when there is something new, without signing in. What you give is your email address, and what the alert watches is that one recruiter or exam — never more than the page you asked from. We also note which page that was, and the IP address the request came from, to stop anybody using the form to flood an inbox.
Anybody can type an address, so nothing is sent to it except one email asking whether its owner wants the alert. Until that link is followed and confirmed, no alert is sent; if it never is, the request is deleted when the link expires. The address itself is kept the way an unanswered sign-in link keeps one: it is the same account a sign-in would make, with no password and nothing else on it. Signing in with that address shows the account, and deleting it from your profile erases the address and every alert with it.
Every alert email lists your alerts with a link beside each that stops that one, and an unsubscribe link that stops every email.
Deleting your account
From your profile, at any time, without asking anyone. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Exactly this happens:

Two of those are worth explaining. An article stays because it is the site’s work, and removing it would take away something other readers rely on; only the byline goes. A record of administrative actions stays because deleting the trail is what somebody covering their tracks would want — the row it points at no longer names anyone.
Who else sees it
Your profile is not sold, shared or used for advertising. Email is handed to a delivery provider, which is the only way an email reaches you. The crawler that reads public notification pages sends no information about any reader.
This site uses Google Analytics to see which pages people find useful and which searches bring them here. It is loaded with storage switched off until you agree: before that, nothing is written to your device and no identifier is kept, though the page does report a view to Google without one. If you press Allow on the notice at the foot of the page, Google Analytics sets its own cookies and can then recognise a return visit. If you press No thanks, it does not.
Only if you press Allow, we also count a few actions: pressing Apply, running an eligibility check, asking for an email alert and tracking a job. Each carries at most the address of the page it happened on — never what you typed, so no date of birth, email address or profile detail.
Your choice is remembered in your browser, not in an account, so it is per-device and clearing site data asks again. We do not run advertising tags, and Google Analytics here is configured with advertising features and ad personalisation refused outright — not merely left unasked.
One exception, on the few pages that carry one: an article may embed a YouTube video. The player is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set advertising cookies until you press play — but loading the frame at all tells Google your address and which browser you are using. The frame is deferred until it comes into view, so a video further down a page you never scroll to is never requested.
Asking about your data
You can see everything held about you on your profile and your dashboard; email alerts are listed, each with a link that stops it, in every alert email. For anything else, including a copy of it, write to the address on the contact page.
