Terms
Short, because there is not much to say. Using the site means accepting these.
The official notification governs
Every figure here — dates, fees, vacancy counts, age limits, qualifications — is read out of a published notification by software, and software misreads things. Every page links back to the document it came from and shows when it was last checked. Before you apply, pay a fee, or decide you are not eligible, read the official notification.
Eligibility results are indicative. The engine is deliberately cautious — where something is unknown it says so rather than ruling you out — but a result on this site is not a decision by the recruiter, and no result here entitles you to anything.
Salary, pension and tax figures from the calculators are worked from published rules and name the revision they used. The official order governs.
Alerts are best effort
Notifications are found by crawling two public sites on a deliberately slow schedule. A recruitment neither of them carries will not appear here, and one they publish late will arrive late. Do not rely on this site as your only way of hearing about a deadline.
What you write here
Where the site accepts anything you write, keep it about the subject and keep it civil. Anything abusive, impersonating somebody, or posted to advertise gets removed, and an account that keeps doing it loses the ability to post. Removal does not need a reason to be given.
Do not put anything private in a public field — not a phone number, not a roll number, not an application ID.
Source material
Facts are not owned by anybody: a closing date is a closing date. Pages here are composed from extracted facts rather than reworded from somebody else’s prose, every one attributes and links its source, and the crawler identifies itself honestly on every request. If you operate a site this reads and want it stopped, or a page removed, the contact page is a real address and gets a real answer.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is, free, with no guarantee that it is available, complete or correct. It is not affiliated with any government department, recruiter or examination body.
